New Connect HR System
This project aims to implement a system that positions Human Resource and Payroll to deliver on RTI's 2025 vision of being a model global organization with an infrastructure that is efficient, effective and intuitive, and provides a friendly user experience and mobile access across multiple devices.
Why do we need a new system?
The goals of the new system are to
- Consolidate staff-related information into a single source of record.
- Streamline the data entry process by allowing staff to enter their information in a single system.
- Allow all RTI employees—domestic and international—to access and use the same system.
- Reduce administrative and new hire overhead with automated paperless onboarding.
- Provide consistency and meet audit requirements by using standard forms and processes.
- Improve salary process efficiency, accuracy and flexibility.
- Lower the cost and time needed to update, upgrade and maintain the system.
When will the new system be available?
The new system will be phased in over this fiscal year (FY16) and the next (FY17):
- January 2016 - Training will be provided for both managers and staff
- March 2016 - Launch of core employee data and employee and manager self-service, which will allow employees and/or managers to -

- Initiate job transactions (e.g. supervisor or location changes, promotions)
- Gather reports/metrics
